Give your girl the help she needs in our intensive Summer Program. Providence Pass is a year-round residential therapeutic program for girls who are struggling, but in the Summer we offer a special 70-day intensive therapy opportunity.

THERAPY SESSIONS In addition to individual therapy, regular group sessions will involve discussions of life issues in a combined setting.

8 Goals for Your Girl:

Special recreational and experiential activities include boating, wake boarding, tubing, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, swimming and sunning, beach trips, theme park outings, zip-line adventure course, and much more!

Nutritional Counseling and beginner cooking classes and education will be part of the summer program. Learning the importance of healthy food choices, understanding how diet effects sleep patterns, thought processing and mood.

Physical Fitness is a key component in building self-confidence and self-respect. All girls will participate in 3 times weekly group fitness classes including martial arts, yoga and cardio classes. 

While at Providence Pass for summer, each girl will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of self-hygiene including proper techniques for skin care and make-up application. Understanding we are uniquely created by our Creator and His beauty is within each of us; beauty comes within, while our outward display of beauty is formed based how we feel both on the inside and our outward appearance. Lessons and encouragement on recognizing your personal beauty within, learning how to be a light for yourself and others through confidence and self-assuredness.

Chapel service on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9 pm. And Sunday church service from 10am to 12:30 pm. All students are required to attend both chapel and Sunday morning services. Providence Pass attends a non-denominational Hillsong United Christian church.

While at Providence Pass for the summer months, the focus is on emotional, mental and spiritual growth through great character building therapeutic workshops, therapy sessions, and experiences. Academics are not offered during the summer program except on a case by case basis where the individual is completing an online (already registered) academic course, for the purposes of academic advancement in the next academic year. This must be approved prior to enrollment.

A portion of the therapy services during the summer program may be covered by your insurance provider. Coverage varies by provider.

12:30-3 PM Afternoon therapy workshop

3 PM- Change into outdoor play clothing

3:15-5:30 PM- Experiential/Adventure Therapy (Boating, swimming, ropes course, rock wall climbing, gardening)  *On equine therapy days, girls will be dismissed after lunchtime to depart to the stables where they will engage in group equine from 1 pm to 5 pm. **Three days weekly will include the physical fitness classes for one hour under the instruction of professional trainer.

6 PM- Dinner

7 PM Evening Class (Sunday- Nutritional counseling, Monday-Cooking class, Tuesday-Art therapy class, Wednesday-Chapel service, Thursday- *Awakening Beauty Course, Friday-“Achieve Group” discussing weekly goals, setting new goals, open discussion on progress and accountability)

9 PM  Letters to home, journaling, reading

9:30 PM Showers and PJ’s

10 PM Lights out


8:30 am -wake-up and have breakfast

9:15 am- Tidy rooms, make beds and pack up and/or dress for the outing

Beach day- depart 10 am- 5 pm  (picnic lunch at the beach)

5-6 pm Help unload, get cleaned up, shower and dress

6 pm Dinner

7 pm Evening group sessions

8 pm Letters to home, phone calls, journaling, reading

9 pm Movie night

11 pm Lights out


8:30 am wake-up and have breakfast

10:00  Depart for church

1:30  Lunchtime- Cook out pool side, swim, cool off

3-5 Afternoon therapy workshop

5-7 pm Experiential therapy

7-8 PM Free time (swimming, fishing, reading, journaling)

8 PM- Evening group sessions

9 PM light chores, tidy up, get ready for the week ahead

10 PM Lights out

  • One week underwear and bras
  • One week socks
  • Gym clothes 5 days supply (yoga pants allowed, tanks, t’s)
  • 5 casual outfits (jeans, Bermuda shorts, tops)
  • 3 dress outfits for church (pants or skirts, summer dress allowed)
  • Bathing suit (one piece) and cover up

  • Flip flops (up to 3 pairs)
  • Sunscreen/beach hat/
  • Comfortable sneakers (up to 2 pairs)

  • 5 pair tan Bermuda shorts (golf shorts, capri’s or Bermuda length allowed. No short/tight/cropped shorts will be allowed)

  • Camera optional (will be allowed on outings and during experiential therapy. Will be kept in the safe at all other times. This cannot be a phone- must be a camera)

Providence Pass is a therapeutic boarding school for troubled teenage girls offering teen counseling for girls with adoption issues (reactive attachment disorders), self-harm (self-mutilation) or cutting, or eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, anorexia nervosa). Other behavioral issues we deal with include: depression, post traumatic stress and anxiety. If you have an out of control girl, please consider this school for troubled girls that offers teen counseling and teen counselors for troubled girls. We offer counseling for troubled teens and out of control teens. We especially work with RAD girls and troubled girls who are adopted. Homes for troubled teens and boarding schools for teens don’t typically offer teen counseling and therapy, but we do.
